What It’s Not

This is not an exhaustive review of all challenges in your organisation. I will focus on what I identify as the most pressing and impactful issues. Recommendations will be based on these priorities. The objective is to discover problems in development practices, which include inputs and outputs, to guide the development practice towards improvements.

What You Need to Provide

To make the session as effective as possible, the following information must be sent via email at least 24 hours before the scheduled meeting:

Tech Stack Overview

  • Key platforms, tools, systems, and any known technical challenges.

  • Strategic Context: High-level goals, existing strategies, and areas of concern (e.g., scalability, misalignment, or technical debt).

  • Team Information: Team size, structure, experience levels, and any known issues or conflicts within the team.

  • Sector/Domain: A brief overview of your industry and business context. Product Information: Key details about your products or services.

  • The composition of the team and the existing practices.

Business Info

High-level business goals, operational focus, and any specific challenges.

What You Get

Confidentiality: All discussions and findings are completely confidential. Outcome: A concise summary of your current situation as I see it, including Identified pain points, potential pitfalls, and risks and observed gaps or conflicts within your technology or team.Hands-on guidance of the team focusing on strengths and weaknesses.

Weekly engagement: I will be part of any weekly meeting and will require access to the entire team, including code, documentation, and communication channels. I will effectively become part of the team, guiding and effecting improvements where necessary.

Actions: It is essential to understand that every team environment differs, and thus, my work will change. In some cases, it may be technical; in others, it may be management or process. I will hear your team, experience its culture, review the quality, assess the efficiency and find the issues. Importantly, I will do less or nothing if nothing needs to be done. If it aint broke.

Preliminary solutions and actionable next steps. I will document my findings and the interventions, creating key objectives for the team to work towards.
