Much time is spent going through raw footage, so the service is based on the raw footage we must use to achieve the video. The length of the final video is less of an issue, but it is usually a third of the total footage. We edit the video to a professional standard, but please remember that the raw footage lighting, sound and quality will determine the output quality. If you have specific edits in mind, we suggest you supply us with the name of the file and the start/end timestamp of what you wish to include in the video. If the footage is shaky and not good quality, we may cut it when you want it in, so to combat this, we first do a rough edit and send it to you as a draft of the sequence of shots and what we have. You can let us know what you want us to cut or add back in from your raw footage.
There will be one or two iterations of this and no more, as the price does not include continuous feedback. On the second occasion (should it occur), we will meet with you and discuss each shot and any reasons for keeping, adding, etc. that we agree on for the final cut. Our job is to reduce it to good, entertaining footage. If you have a script with specific shot orders and sequences, then you must supply this in file/timestamp form before the editing starts.
< 15 min Raw Footage
You will send us 15min of raw footage to turn into a video. This will make an end production of a maximum of 5min. However, it is typically between 1-3min
< 30 Min Raw Footage
Typically, for producing a maximum length of 10-minute videos.
< 60min Raw Footage
Typically producing a video length of 25min.
We decide all the edits for Standard Video Editing service. This means, if the footage is blurry and we can’t use it, it will be excluded from the edit and we will make the decisions.
High-End service includes a discovery where you can identify must have shots. In cases where you specifically want something that is not ideal, we will attempt to fix and clean, but only within reason.
Note: For best quality editing, it requires best quality footage and sound.
The High-End options
We work in 2k or 4k to get a high-end finish, whereas the standard service uses standard HD (1920x1080). The high-end contains well-thought-out music, sound effects, transitions, titles, and extra polish to create a high-end experience. The high-end option must have professionally shot footage and recorded audio and be provided in raw, with lut and equipment formats.
We will use royalty-free music, titles and images if required. If you want particular copyrighted material, the cost of its use will be outside the scope of this service and your responsibility.
Titles
Basic titles and logo placement or ident added (does not include the creation of ident or channel titles).
Geographic labels and property boundaries are included in the high-end service only.
