Standard vs Professional

The standard is not inferior; it has more to do with the level of detail and the final touches of quality. Many customers won’t know whether it is an 8 or 9 out of 10, but they do know if it’s a 4 or a 6.

Standard is about building a site that works, professional is about building a site that works, remains working and improves your business. These are two different routes to take, but we don’t do cheap.

But it’s just a website

Google is just a website, Wikipedia is just a website, and Dave’s plumbing site is just a website. What is a website? A website is a complete end-to-end experience.

I just want directions, a contact form and a phone number.

It’s 2020. That view is from 1994. Websites sell services, boost marketing and branding, spread knowledge, make lives easier, and offer productivity options. A good website could/should be your main source of revenue. If you provide the wording for your website without a copywriter or using stock photos, then you are not going to experience what a good-quality site can do. If that is the case, it would be best to use WIX or similar and do it yourself.

I want a cheap site

It would be best to find a cheap web designer or use WIX. Cheap websites do nothing except make you look cheap.
